    Process of Steel Bars

According to the production process,we can produce hot-rolled, cold-rolled, cold-drawn steel bars, as well as heat-treated steel bars made from Grade IV steel bars through heat treatment, which usually have higher strength than the former.
In terms of their roles in the structure, steel bars can also be divided into compression steel bars, tension steel bars, framing steel bars, distribution steel bars, stirrups, etc. Each type of steel bar plays a specific role in the concrete structure, jointly ensuring the safety and stability of the structure.
High-strength steel bars mainly refer to steel bars with a tensile strength of 785 MPa or higher.

Based on the material,we can also produce ordinary carbon steel bar and alloy steel bar.For example,high carbon steel, medium carbon steel, low-alloy steel bars,etc.

Classification by appearance and structure usually falls into four categories.
Deformed Steel Bar: Refers to steel bars with irregular protrusions on the surface, which help enhance the bond strength with concrete and improve structural strength.
Ribbed Steel Bars: Characterized by ribs evenly distributed along the length of the steel bar surface, which can be spiral or straight. This design is also aimed at enhancing bond strength with concrete.
Screw Thread Steel: Features a continuous or intermittent threaded surface, which allows for a tighter connection when used for connections.
Plain Round Steel Bar: Has a smooth surface without any tooth or spiral pattern. It is commonly used in building support structures and concrete components to enhance the toughness and bending strength of concrete.

    How to Select Steel Bars

I. It is recommended to purchase steel bars from large manufacturers to prevent the purchase of recycled steel.
II. When receiving steel bars, check the factory quality certificate and the nameplate.
III. Inspect the appearance of the steel bars for any cracks, folds, or rust. High-quality steel bars have a deep blue and uniform color, with clear convex crescent patterns and regular spacing. Inferior steel bars may have a reddish or dark color, with fine and irregular crescent patterns.
Even if good steel bars are purchased, it is necessary to properly protect the steel materials. It is recommended to erect the steel bars and cover them with waterproof materials to prevent rusting.
